Examples of my work with smaller spaces, smaller budgets, and large scale projects alike.
Please note that each of these is paired down; I am happy to provide more project documents upon request.

3k - 30 Days

As Seen On Apartment Therapy!

This apartment was left in seriously poor condition, after being neglected for over a decade.

The challenge? To completely transform it on a $3k budget, entirely DIY style. There was less than a month to complete this in any spare moments, on top of regular work and life! This transformation goes to show how vision (here to help!) , effort ( I believe in you!), flexible sourcing (hello, marketplace), and a real good pal (sometimes you need two sets of hands) willing to help, are enough to accomplish some pretty major impacts. Renters & Staging

While Vancouver is a beautiful city booming with young professionals, fewer and fewer of us can afford to buy. Solutions for renters can have a big impact for less money, without upsetting the owners. Renter home projects often transform a space with a budget equivalent to about one month’s rent. Custom work can be completed in rentals, during renovations, or in new space to give personality and function to any room's blueprint.

Homewares & Customs

Small custom pieces, and finishing touches to complete your home. I offer affordable basics, tailored to your space's needs. Rope bowls, coffee or side tables, shelving. Everything is made my hand, in collaboration with local makers when applicable.  Have an idea for something you don't see here? Run it by me!

I love working with clients to create new pieces.

Boutique Hotel

Hotel proposal, in the Plateau Mont-Royal area of Montreal, features loft style rooms geared towards community oriented people who want to feel at home as they travel. Quota of rooms reserved at subsidized rates to facilitate community events and conferences, particularly for marginalized groups. The digitally unplugged theme of the hotel is anchored by a bookstore on the main floor, a small restaurant with ingredients sourced from their own community garden, including leftover food donation system, and a rooftop with pool, picnic, and lounge areas, which can be rented out for events.

Commercial Booth

The Tea Spot is a mobile commercial space. It serves as retail, showcase,

and also a service area. Hidden bulk storage for merchandise, built into the back wall.

Eye catching display, both for marketing and to show the selection available for purchase.

Built in piping system, hosting hot water tanks with spouts to provide on the spot tea sales.
